Peach no longer

We have this little peach tree in the backyard, planted by the previous owners. It's a small tree, a little under 5 feet tall. We had 8 peaches growing on the tree, and then a really windy storm blew in and literally blew off all the peaches off the tree. (sigh) How upsetting! I was really looking forward to trying the peaches. Oh well, I guess better luck next year I suppose.

  1. Hi there Meems ! I would be annoyed too if those beautiful peaches were knocked off too.. for such a little tree it seemed to try so hard bearing fruit ;-)
Love new garden tools .. I go through gloves like crazy .. I think I am too demanding of them ? haha .. and new trowels ! I have so many it is ridiculous, but each one has a specific use .. in my mind anyways ? haha
We have been lucky with the weather so far .. enough rain days and sun days to keep things in balance .. I'm sure that will change to the oppressive heat and humidity soon though .. yuck ! LOL
    Joy : )

  2. Hi Meems,

Sorry to hear about your tree troubles, but like you said; there's always next year.

  3. Aw, bummer! The peach I ate today actually fell off the tree for some reason, but I ate it anyway.

  4. I am so sorry. Next year the weather will be peach perfect and you'll get to enjoy them all (if you get there before all the nightime critters take a bite :-)
