Opening A Jar Of Summer

On this completely dreary day of snow, rain and sleet, I was craving a bit of summer. I opened a jar of peach jam that my mother-in-law made us. Oh boy did it hit the spot! It tastes so much like summer in a jar. I do hope our peach tree produces some significant size peaches this year so that we can make some homemade peach jam too. Delicious!

  1. That does sound good! Won't it be great if you're eating peach jam from your own tree next winter?

  5. I LOVE Peach Jam!!! Our neighbor has 2 ginormous peach trees, taller than his house, and I made about 20 jars for us and the neighbors. Then it turned out I am allergic to peaches. Enjoy it for me!

  8. O yummy, I have one left of a batch of apple butter I made last year. And everytime I open one I sneak a taste, and it does remind me of summer.
